Sludge Holding Tanks provide storage and blending for the thickened waste activated sludge, primary sludge, imported sludge, and scum before further Processing. Bio-reactors provide an environment in which living organisms, including bacteria and plankton (termed activated sludge), remove pollutants from the wastewater by feeding upon the organic matter and by absorption.
Glass fused steel can be used as a sludge storage tank in such applications. Other than that, glass fused steel tank can be used as any kind of storage tank or reactor.
